Welcome to the home of the Blazing Blue Herons Canoe Team! We are based at Camp Apasus in Norfolk, VA in the Girl Scout Council of the Colonial Coast. The team practices weekly on Sundays during the fall and spring to prepare for their race season in May and June. On Memorial Day weekend they race with other Girl Scout teams at The General Clinton Canoe Regatta in Bainbridge, NY. 

 

Our fall season begins the weekend following Labor Day and runs until November. Our spring season will begin in March and run until June with several events taking place including the General Clinton Scout Race in New York over Memorial Day weekend. 

If your daughter is interested in joining The Blazing Blue Herons Canoe Team please send us an email with your daughters age, school, and troop info or Girl Scout status so we can add you to our mailing list.
